About the Rejuvenator
The hair regrowth market is big. Hair health, although not as large a market, is still quite significant. This product addresses both hair health and hair regrowth, and we can confirm this product is selling very well for quite a number of our wholesale accounts.
Hair stops growing for many reasons. If a hair follicle is dead, no chemical will bring it back to life. The most common reason hair stops growing is that nutrition can no longer reach the follicle. Usually it is blocked off by wax (thickening of oil from the oil gland). Wax will not dissolve in water but will dissolve in oils. Historically, ancients rubbed nutrient rich oils (extracted from plant seeds) into their brows to assist with regrowth. We now know more about how and why this worked.
Hair health is also important. An unhealthy, old hair turns brittle, and it becomes uncooperative. A brittle lash hair won’t curl and a brittle brow hair won’t lie flat (unless it is too long). What has happened? The oil gland at the hair root has stopped producing oil to coat and soften the hairs. The oil gland dries out over time. The oil rejuvenates the hairs, softening them almost immediately, leaving them nourished and cooperative.
How it Works
What Ancients Knew:
Brows could be regrown by rubbing brows with rich oil blends and plant root extracts
What We Know Now:
Brow hair differs from scalp hair. The root is close to the skin surface – so it’s easier to reach. This means that problems affecting hair growth can be treated. If a follicle is dead, nothing can bring it back to life. However, just because a hair does not grow does not mean the follicle is dead. Read on to find out more….
Case 1: A Normal Brow Hair
This is a sketch of a normal brow hair. The follicle is open and nutrients are free to enter and promote hair growth.
Case 2: Hair Stops Growing
Wax buildup coats follicle blocking nutrition needed for growth ( “male pattern baldness”)
Case 3: Hair Gets Thinner and May Stop Growing
In this case, a damaged or inflamed follicle has stopped the hair from growing. This can be caused by poor diet, inflamed skin, or from years of over-plucking
Case 4: Hair turns brittle with age
As we age, the oil gland dries and gradually stops lubricating the hair. In turn, the hair becomes more brittle.
How the Brow Hair Rejuvenator Works
The rejuvenator oil works by dissolving the wax buildup. The nutrient rich oil provides nutrition needed for health and the properties of the oil soothe the hair shaft. The oil also moisturizes the hair, creating a soft and thick appearance.
Derived from coconut oil – this makes it silky smooth – to moisturize hair.
Helianthus Annus (Sunflower) Seed Oil
This is the oil expressed from Sunflower seeds and is rich in Vitamin E. Sunflower seed oil is rich in nutrients and antioxidants. It’s useful for nourishing skin, inflammation, and prevents redness and irritation. It also helps the skin retain moisture.
Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil
Meadowfoam Oil is pressed from the seeds of Meadowfoam and provides energy the cells need to grow. Meadowfoam oil contains over 98% long-chain fatty acids and also has higher quality triglyceride (the energy source that the body gets from the blood to grow the hair) levels when compared to other vegetable oils.
It has amazing moisturizing and rejuvenating capabilities. When applied to the skin, it forms a moisture barrier and will assist the skin with preventing moisture loss. It adds moisture to the hair and will remedy dry or damaged hair.
This unsaturated fatty acid is used as an emollient and thickening agent in cosmetics. There is some research showing it to be effective in cell regulation and skin-barrier repair, as well as an antioxidant and an anti-inflammatory product.
Fatty acid used in cosmetics as an emollient, antioxidant, and cell regulator. GLA is considered to promote healthy skin growth and is an anti-inflammatory agent. GLA is found in black currant oil or seeds, evening primrose oil, and borage oil.
This is vitamin E, a fat-soluble vitamin. It is a naturally occurring antioxidant which is isolated from vegetable oil. Vitamin E is excellent for skin health and promotes healthy and elastic skin.
Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil
This is a light yellow oil expressed from rice bran. It is commonly used as a hair conditioning agent. Rice Bran Oil enhances the appearance and feel of hair by increasing hair body, suppleness, or sheen, or by improving the texture of hair that has been damaged physically or by chemical treatment.
Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil
Cold-pressed from the best, our hemp seed oil is made from (you guessed it) the hemp plant. As you probably know by now, hemp does not contain the active ingredient of marijuana (THC) and so it is not psychoactive. But it can still take your brows & lashes on a wild ride!
Hemp for hair has many potential benefits including promoting hair growth, moisturizing, thickening, and providing shine, and even reviving damaged hair! This is probably due to being rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
Tocopheryl Acetate, or more commonly known as Vitamin E, is a natural preservative, anti-oxidant, and moisturizer. It reduces trans-dermal water loss and helps maintain connective tissue.
Tocopheryl acetate provides a natural defense against harmful UV rays, preventing hyper-pigmentation and sun damage. Vitamin E is used in all kinds of cosmetic products and is taken as vitamin supplements for skin care, hair care, and cell generation.
Equisetum Giganteum Extract
Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) is a herbal plant. It has many uses and a long history of being used in medicine, even for the same purposes we use it for (hair regrowth).
Ancient Romans, Greeks, and Chinese herbalists recognized horsetail’s healing abilities. While it has been used orally, it has also been used as a topical remedy for hair loss.
Althaea Officinalis Root Extract
This is from the root of the Marshmallow plant. It has well known antioxidant properties. It helps to minimize skin irritation and nourishes damaged hair.
Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract
Rosmarinus officinalis is used to help stimulate hair growth and prevents grey hairs.
Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil
Safflower seed oil isn’t just great for high heat cooking, it has multiple uses for hair growth and even improves circulation.
